Congratulations to all of you for finishing the first trimester at USB. It is always hard to make the transition from high school to college, and harder for some of you who are from the countryside and are now living far from your family and friends.

To those who passed all courses, you have already fulfilled 45% of the year. Great job!!! To those of you who passed Math 1, you have also successfully completed around 33%, believe me.

Don´t get depressed or disappointed if you failed several courses. Try harder next trimester and do not forget to go to DIDE where they will gladly help you learn how to study better and how to concentrate for math exams, for example. If you did not pass English, keep practicing your vocabulary with the box and practice reading in English with your guides and the links in this site. Do not forget to go to Coordinación de Ciclo Básico to ask for permission if you are on "período de prueba". You will not be able to register more than 11 credits.

Felicitaciones a todos por terminar su primer trimestre en la USB. Es siempre difícil hacer la transición de bachillerato a la universidad y más aún para quienes son del interior y están lejos de su familia y amigos.

Excelente trabajo el realizado por todos quienes pasaron todas sus materias, ya tienen cumplido 45% del año. A quienes pasaron mate 1, ustedes también tienen listo como el 33%, creanme. No se depriman ni sientan mal si aplazaron varias materias, estudien más el próximo trimestre y vayan a DIDE donde los ayudarán a aprender a estudiar mejor y a concentrarse en los exámenes de matemáticas, por ejemplo. Si aplazaron inglés, sigan practicando su vocabulario con la cajita y lean con sus guías y los enlaces en este sitio. No se olviden de ir a la Coordinación de Ciclo Básico para pedir permiso si están en Período de Prueba. Sólo podrán inscribir hasta 11 créditos.
