This week we will review some exercises on affixes and cognate words.1) Check pages 59-62 again and try to do exercise 21 a,b,c,d.
2) Review page 65 on cognates and false cognates, do exercises 22 and 23. Go through pages 68-70 as a final check on how to learn words effectively.
Prof. Gilberto Berríos has set up these exercises on cognates for his students. Why don´t you try them out?
DON´T FORGET: I´ll be in my office in case of doubts, if you want to do these exercises with my help, if you want to check them before handing them in or anything else you deem necessary. We won´t have class but ten consultation hours a week.
RECUERDEN: estaré en mi oficina en caso de dudas, si quieren hacer estos ejercicios conmigo, si quieren revisarlos antes de entregarlos, o para cualquier otra consulta que consideren necesaria. No tendremos clases formales, pero sí diez horas de consulta a la semana.

Ok, gracias profesora. Lo más probable es que pase el miércoles por su oficina, ya que tengo algunas dudas con respecto al ejercicio 65.

Giovanna, I think you meant page 65 (not exercise 65 which is about cause-effect, a topic of ID1-112). The one that you should be checking is page 65 to READ before doing the exercises that follow. I´ll be in my office Wednesday in case of doubts.
