For the first special assignment this week, you will draw a graphic organizer (see page 98 of Focus on reading) comparing and contrasting ONE (1) of the following:1) Life in high-school versus life at the university.
2) Electronics engineering versus computer engineering.
3) Caracas and any other city in Venezuela or abroad that you know about.
4) Any other topic where you can establish comparison and contrast, similarities and differences.
Please DO NOT copy and paste from the Internet. Try to write the graphic organizer yourselves. Have a look at this about Venn diagrams.
Here is an Exercise to fill in blanks on similarities and differences about Australia and New Zeland. More exercises here.
Bring the piece of paper with your assignment to the department (my mailbox or office) this week or next Monday 19.

el dibujo se refiere a los diagramas de venn, los colores q se interceptan son los q estan compuestos los otros 2

Profe me acabo de dar cuenta de que hice mal una parte de la tarea :S es que si hice los cuatros graficos, pero en lugar de comparar la vida en el colegio contra la vida universitaria yo compare la escuela con la universidad. :S
yo igual le voy a llevar ese, porque supongo que a la final lo importante de la tarea es aprender a realizar graficos de comparasión y contraste.

Hi Pilar, you did not have to do four (4) organizers. You had to select 1 of the three topics or decide on any other you wanted. Don´t worry. See you tomorrow.
