Students opposed to the reforms held protests including a crowd that formed a human chain along a Caracas freeway ...
CARACAS, Venezuela, nov. 14 (UPI) -- Students from different universities protested this Wednesday forming a human chain along a freeway in Caracas. The chain spread over hundreds of blocks and every 5 meters a student held a poster with an article of the reform and its future consequences and implications.
Alexis Cabrera, president of the student center of Universidad Simón Bolívar said that more than protesting the objective was to inform about the reform and how it would affect the lives af all Venezuelans. Angel López, member of the Secretary´s office of the student center of Universidad Simón Bolívar stated that more than calling citizens to vote against the reform, they want them to be informed of the implications. He added that they did not want to close the freeway or obstruct traffic in no way. He mentioned that the autonomy national universities have at the moment is in danger and that is why people have to know in detail about the articles being reformed.
In this protest there were students from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Metropolitana, Santa María, Humboldt, Monteavila, among others. Students from Universidad Central de Venezuela did not participate as they will have student elections next Friday. Read more here.

I think that they are right, is not just about try to convence people to vote NO. The important thing in here is to informe the people about the reform, in that way they'll know the posibles consequences of the changes that the reform propose, so the people could have their own opinion about it.
